PRE Team is honored to be a part of The Midnight Mission golf committee. We sponsor and raise funds for the TMM Annual Smokey Robinson Charity golf. Due to the Covid-10 SIP, The Midnight Mission Golf Committee decided to hold a Virtual Golf Tournament instead. We are calling all golfers with a giving heart to sponsor or participate in the Smokey Robinson Golf tournament. 100% of the proceeds benefits the Midnight Mission. The Midnight mission provides housing, basic care, food for homeless individuals including women and children throughout Southern CA.

This health crisis is hitting everyone hard, especially our homeless neighbors. While other providers in Skid Row and surrounding areas have cut back or stopped providing services completely, The Midnight Mission’s doors h
ave remained open, as they have for over one hundred years. Those on the streets who are struggling with addiction, health issues, and have no home to be “safer at home” in, struggle during the best of times. This pandemic has given them another burden to carry.
In this unprecedented time, The Midnight Mission has noticed the following growing challenges:
- Meals have increased from an average of 1,500 to over 2,500 per day.
- Many of the residences in their HomeLight Family Program have lost their jobs and need additional financial assistance. In addition, with schools closed, The Midnight Mission is needing to provide additional food for the families and their children who would normally enjoy breakfast and lunch at school.
- Expenses are up for janitorial supplies, day-to-day operations and additional security staff to ensure facilities remain both clean and safe for employees, residents, and guests during the COVID-19 crisis.
- Many primary resources for donated food are closed, forcing The Midnight Mission to purchase food that would normally be donated while working to secure food donations from other sources.
- With fundraising events either postponed or canceled, The Midnight Mission’s annual budget is challenged and in even greater need of our support
